I'm really excited. . .

I just got the word that we are on our way to getting the house!! At first I thought that getting the house wasn't in the plans for us. I was so excited that I was about to burst!! No more renting for me!! Since we (Pete and myself) decided that we are not going to go through the VA, it's better that we go through the bank instead. So far, it's working out. All we have left to do is to save up for the earnest payment and that's all, which is fantastic!! We're still looking around for that one house, because the other was sold before we had the chance to get it, but our future isn't bleak, which is a good thing.

I took a few Kaiba's, washed it down with some Alister and chased it with some Mokuba and that really helped!! XD

All that we have really to do is to get the paperwork signed and the payment collected and we have it. We're looking at a June or July move-in date which is better anyway.

Scott, the banker, said that we had better credit than we thought we had, which is wonderful. Since we really don't have any monthly bills, it's easier for us to make the payments, which is perfect! The program that we're going through requires us to take a homebuyers class, which isn't going to cost us a dime. I'm really glad that we have such a wonderful support network! I want to thank you, MOG, and everyone else for your prayers and hopes that we would get out of this trailer park and into the house! *BIG GLOMPS*
