I GOT THE JOB!!

silver_fox_ninjaI was really delighted to get the job at the game shop and I have another one in the works at Blimpy. My father works in the area where I will be meeting with the manager. I pretty much have a shoe in there too. It's not often that I get two part time jobs within a week. It's establishing a work history here and it will ensure that I can help out my parents since we are living here.
Anyway, I have a pretty good feeling that I will be really doing a lot of work, but I'm kinda sad that I won't be able to spend a lot of time on the internet with my friends. I have to take care of the family first. Right now I'm typing this without looking at the screen so if there are any mistakes it's because I'm not paying a lot of attention. I'm watching TV and doing this at the same time.
On another note, my little sister is having her baby shower today and I'm pretty excited about that. My daughter can't wait to go and she's driving me nuts. (Now I'm watching this commercial where these animals are going in this car and singing this song. Weird.) My husband is being rather typical for him. He's told my father that he's going to mow the lawn and then he starts to do other things other than mowing. I wish he would make up his damned mind. It's frustrating.
He was unrealistic when it came to looking for work. Here in this city, you have to have a work history to get the really good ones. He had a job and lost it in one day, then he's been relying on his unemployment to kick in. Now he's thinking that he's going to get on with this security company, thinking that I can be there to pick him up and such. I can't if I'm working at another place clear across the other side of town. Yeesh.
