Completed Chaos and Pine Needles
Apr. 10th, 2007 10:06 pmI have finally completed Chaos and Pine Needles. My first review came from fifilefemme on the one shot. She thought it was really funny. I laughed at the review she gave me too, which really brightened my spirits. I know that Pearl is really busy at the moment getting the interview project that she has done completed for turn in.
If you ever get the chance to read Chaos and Pine Needles, it'll give you a pretty good insight of what Silver Lining is going to be like. It's the prequel to the story, which I think most readers will get a better understanding about the gay community and the tragedies that they have to face. It's going to have some very real elements that cover HIV and AIDS, which is a very risky venue to take. Since I have experienced first hand what HIV and AIDS can do to a person being a care giver for AIDS victims on my spare time as a volunteer, which is a lot of time, I think Silver is going to be a real eye opener.
Whisper in the Trees is growing into the tragic love story that I feel hits home to a lot of people. The unbelievable elements are going to have a very real feel to it, which is something that I hope that I can take to the next level. So far, I'm very pleased with the results.
I have aso visited the Y!G yesterday. I re-read A Red-Heads Revenge which gave me a real good insight into the mind of Alister. Wow! At first I didn't like it, but then after a read it a second time, I got a better understanding into the reasons why Seto should never break up with him in the first place. Talk about toying with a person, boy.
