Yeah, a lot of "Greek" food comes from all over the Balkans. In fact, pitas originated in Bosnia, not Greece. Hummus originated in Turkey, but was brought to Bosnia through the Ottoman Empire.
I thought that the idea of applesauce on top of cottage cheese sounded disgusting until I tried it. It's very good! XD
