What is good for energy is applesauce (or apples), but applesauce goes good with cottage cheese, or as a side to breakfast. It will wake you up and energize you!

Also, peanut butter and raisins are excellent brainfood. I found that out when my teacher handed out peanuts and raisins before a test, and I've been taking them before finals ever since! Great snack, too.

Plus, because I'm obsessed with all things Bosnian (for Q), I found that hummus is also Bosnian (it originally came from Turkey, not Greece). Hummus has half the fat and a quarter of the calories that mayo has, and it's great on sandwiches (instead of mayo)! Also, it's good for you! (Just avoid the brands that have nuts in them, which adds to the calories. My mom keeps buying that kind... silly woman.)
